5 Apr | Matt 28:1-10 | Easter

This year, as Easter approaches, the world feels as if it is in more turmoil than ever.

In January Trump's deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller said: “We live in a world, in the real world... that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power."

Easter tells a different story.

Jesus' betrayal and death were not the final word. Strength, force and power did not win. Jesus' humility, sacrifice and love teach us a completely different story about the real cosmos we live in. We live in a world ruled by a powerful yet compassionate God.
