Weddings

We love joining with people as they celebrate this significant step in their relationship. Weddings can take place at both All Saints and nearby historic St Marks Church.

Our Vicar, Rev Dr Carolyn Robertson currently only presides over weddings of current congregation members of All Saints and St Marks churches.

If you are not a current church member, you’re still welcome to hire our church venues and facilities for your wedding, you’ll just need to organise your own minister for your wedding ceremony. Weddings in all Anglican churches can only be taken by an ordained Christian minister. Please just let us know if you need any help finding one for your wedding.

We have two great spaces available for weddings.

Our Auditorium in the White Building and the Community Hall in the Black Building.

There are areas for catering/refreshments after the service, together with kitchen and toilet facilities. There is wheelchair access (with accessible toilets) & onsite parking.

The church building has wheelchair access (with accessible toilets) & onsite parking.

  • AV sound system and projector available in the Community Hall and Auditorium. You are also welcome to organise your own live musicians, who will need to bring their own instruments and sound equipment.

    An operator for our AV sound system can be hired for your wedding - for an additional charge

    Complimentary WIFI is available.

  • You’re welcome to set up flowers and decorations for your wedding, which you’re normally able to do the night or morning before the ceremony.

    If you want to use confetti, please use a biodegradable confetti, or an eco-friendly alternative.

  • We have a full kitchen and adjoining lounge with a serving hatch if you want to provide your own reception refreshments either yourself or through a caterer.

  • Recycling is important to us to help look after our environment. You’re welcome to use the church’s council recycling wheelie bins for any recyclable materials (e.g. boxes, hymn sheets, programmes). Any other rubbish, including decorations/confetti, that can’t be recycled will need to be removed after your ceremony/reception.

  • Parking is available on site and it is free to park outside the church and on the surrounding streets.

St Mark’s Church

Capacity 50

A beautiful old venue, fantastic for an intimate wedding. The space also has excellent acoustics, with no sound system needed. You can use the church and surrounding grounds, perfect for a picnic reception on the grass.

Please note that due to the age of the building there is no built-in kitchen or bathroom (a tidy portaloo is provided).

  • You’re welcome to decorate the church for your wedding. Previous wedding groups have used bunting and flowers. This can either be set up after your rehearsal, or at another time before your wedding before your wedding date (a fee may apply to organise separate access).

  • St Marks Church - Venue Hire

    Full Day - 7am to 11pm - $250

    Set Up (from 1pm day prior) + Full Day - 7am - 11pm - $400

Important information

Marriage Licence

You will need to apply for a marriage licence, which is valid for 3 months; Apply online; Births, Deaths and Marriages.
Your marriage licence must be provided prior to the ceremony. We cannot conduct a legal marriage without a licence.
