    Vicar

The role of the Vicar is to provide spiritual and organisational leadership for the parish. Key aspects of what a vicar traditionally does include preaching, pastoral care, and celebrating the sacraments (baptism and communion). The role also involves leading the team of key ministry leaders.

I have been involved in ministry in the church for most of my life, starting with leading children when I was 13. I later became a children’s pastor. I eventually went on to both sociology study theology and enjoy looking at how the teachings of Jesus can impact the way we look at our world.

    Children’s Pastor

I coordinate the Lighthouse community; I oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of our Sunday lessons for children. I work closely with supervisors and volunteers across age groups to ensure each lesson is engaging, meaningful, and aligned with our values. I am always available to chat to parents—answering questions, listening to concerns, and building trust in our children’s ministry.

I’m often found at youth group gatherings, supporting our teen leaders as they grow and serve alongside us—I love the energy and creativity they bring, and I’m excited to see what young people can achieve when given vision, trust, and opportunity.

Each week, I get to share the joy of faith and guide them in taking their first steps in knowing Jesus. Alongside this, I’m currently deepening my theological foundation through weekday study—bringing richer biblical insight and spiritual depth into everything we share with the kids.
