Weekly notices - 30 November 2025

Welcome

Thank you for joining us if you came along to our Sunday Service, and a special welcome if you are new here!

Today is the first week of Advent where we remember the hope that comes into the world on that first Christmas and the ongoing hope of God with us in our everyday lives. We look expectantly to that time when Jesus will return and set the world to right, and work towards that goal in our own time.

I will be on sabbatical from today until Feb 1st - but please join us for our Lessons and Carols special next week & welcome Rev Ian Smith, who will be filling in for me while I am on leave.

Sun Dec 7 10.30 Service - All Age Lessons and Carols. No 9am Service.

If you would like to revisit todays or one of our previous services pop over to our Sermons page.

Kia tau te rangimarie,

Carolyn.

Overseas Cultural Exposure Trip 2026

We are exploring the possibility of doing a trip to Fiji next year hosted by Cassie and Takepe Kamunaga. This wouldn’t include staying in resorts! This would be for all ages. We would do group fundraising to lower financial pressure.

Our new building is open! But it’s still not too late to buy items from our Gift Registry. There is absolutely no item to small for you to contribute. The most important thing is for us all to take part.

This money is tax deductible so you can claim back 1/3 of it at the end of the financial year.
