24 August 2025 | Connection | Luke 13:10-17
We read from Luke about Jesus healing a crippled woman on the Sabbath.
The challenge we find here for today's society, is that we need overcome this new way of living that is causing social isolation & loneliness. We can talk to other people, we can make the effort to connect with who are isolated. We were made to live in community.
Jesus cares for everyone, sees everyone and we as Christians are called to follow Jesus. To see people's humanity.
Luke 13:10-17
Prayers & Psalms
Each Sunday, prior to the sermon we have created a space for more voices from our community; One of our children read a Psalm from ‘Psalms for Young Children’ by Marie-Hélène Delval.
Followed by a prayer, shared by a member of our congregation, focused around what's happening in the world, our country and our community. We have included some of these on our Prayers Page for you to revisit and reflect on the words that they shared.
