Here we are presented with the two sides of church - a welcoming community and a community with a vocation, and we reflect on what this means for our church.
We are an outward facing institution that expresses the love of Jesus to the world. We do have a task - but it matters how we do it.
Prayers & Psalms
Each Sunday, prior to the sermon we have created a space for more voices from our community; One of our children read a Psalm either from the Lectionary or for younger children, from ‘Psalms for Young Children’ by Marie-Hélène Delval.
Followed by a prayer, shared by a member of our congregation, focused around what's happening in the world, our country and our community. We have included some of these on our Prayers Pagefor you to revisit and reflect on the words that they shared.
