Mother’s Day | John 10:22-30
This week we continue to read from John, the passage where Jesus claims to be the son of God.
This is the image Jesus gives of himself, selfless love, we celebrate on mother's day - but you don't have to be a mother to learn to give selflessly
The challenge & the invitation here is; can we live like this?
The challenge, is hard in our cultural context, where we are told to think we are the most important. The invitation isn't easy; Jesus sacrificed His own happiness for everyone else and asks you to follow him.
When we are filled with the unconditional love of God, like a mother for her child, as we are the children of God, then we start to be able to give our life in service for one another.

Prayers & Psalms
Each Sunday, prior to the sermon we have created a space for more voices from our community; One of our children read a Psalm from ‘Psalms for Young Children’ by Marie-Hélène Delval.
Followed by a prayer, shared by a member of our congregation, focused around what's happening in the world, our country and our community. We have included some of these on our Prayers Page for you to revisit and reflect on the words that they shared.
