7 September 25 | The Cost of Being a Disciple | Luke 14:25-33
We read from Luke Chapter 14, as he describes two parables about the high cost of discipleship and we reflect on what this means for us today.
"Costly grace...is costly because it compels a man to submit to the yoke of Christ and follow him; it is grace because Jesus says: 'My yoke is easy and my burden is light.'" Dietrich Bonhoeffer "The Cost of Discipleship"
Are we willing to see if what Jesus said was true & throw it all in with Him?

Prayers & Psalms
Each Sunday, prior to the sermon we have created a space for more voices from our community; One of our children read a Psalm from ‘Psalms for Young Children’ by Marie-Hélène Delval.
Followed by a prayer, shared by a member of our congregation, focused around what's happening in the world, our country and our community. We have included some of these on our Prayers Page for you to revisit and reflect on the words that they shared.
