4 October 26 | Restless Hearts | Matt 21:33-46
We read today from Matthew the parable of the evil farmers. Here God invites us to recognise our true place.
We have to acknowledge that we like to be in control - but in our selfishness we don't know what to do with it.
"Quia fecisti nos ad te, et inquietum est cor nostrum, donec requiescat in te."
You have made us for yourself and our hearts are restless until they rest in you"

Prayers & Psalms
Each Sunday, prior to the sermon we have created a space for more voices from our community; One of our children read a Psalm either from the Lectionary or for younger children, from ‘Psalms for Young Children’ by Marie-Hélène Delval.
Followed by a prayer, shared by a member of our congregation, focused around what's happening in the world, our country and our community. We have included some of these on our Prayers Pagefor you to revisit and reflect on the words that they shared.
