Today’s Service
In our services today we will be reading a statement from our Anglican Archbishops concerning the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care. The report is harrowing reading. Our Anglican leadership has taken full responsibility for the abuse that occurred and offers a genuine and heartfelt apology to all those who have suffered when they should have been safe.

Today we also have guest speaker Rosie Fyfe National Director of NZCMS with us and she reads from 2 Corinthians, reflecting on Myths of the Missionary Hero, that mission is only on a ‘foreign mission field’ and that mission is just evangelism

There’s a lot of things we need to buy for the new building and we’d love you to be able to contribute, there’s everything from $4.50 mugs to $9000 projectors and a range in between!

Conversation about the Treaty is happening all around us. There is an important opportunity right now to dive into our shared story so that we know our place to stand and how we can belong, wherever our ancestors came from.
'Belonging in this land: Treaty basics from a Christian perspective' is an opportunity for our faith community to explore the story of the Treaty of Waitangi over two 90-minute video sessions. Whether you know a lot, or a little, let’s be curious together.
Brought to us by Common Grace Aotearoa in partnership with Karuwhā Trust and Te Manu Hononga - the Sir Paul Reeves Centre, we will hear from expert presenters, including Dean of Taranaki Cathedral Jay Ruka and former Anglican Archbishop David Moxon, to help you refresh or expand your knowledge.

This resource is free but there is an optional koha of $25 that can be made when you register.
A garden update from Jenny Hughes
Grateful for the keen and skilful helpers during the holidays. The garden plots now have soil and compost and no competition from twitch.
This species Camellia grijsii is looking great. Nectar for insects during the winter.
This camellia has small flowers and leaves so good for covering the fence in time.
The broccoli in the glasshouse is progressing well.
