After Matariki, I’m taking some leave with my family. In the Anglican church, Vicars get a sabbatical after 7 years and mine is overdue because of the building project. I will be on leave from Mon 23rd Jun until Mon 21st Jul.
During my absence we have 3 guest speakers from within our congregation who I encourage you come and hear and support!

Pantry
Our food pantry is getting low. If you have any non perishable pantry items to spare, tinned tomatoes, fruit, pasta, biscuits - including gluten free etc please bring them along for the collection basket on Sunday. So we can ensure we are able to help families needing a little support during these cold winter months.

Little Revolutions | Jun 27th-28th
Little Revolutions is a 2 day conference for “leader, church-planters, and those who still believe the local church can be a force for good in the world”. We can help you apply for financial support if you are interested in going. littlerevolutions.co.nz
Couples enrichment advance noticeDallas and Lucy Harema will be running 5 sessions to help couples build their relationships in Term 3. If you are interested, let Dallas know on 027246736.
Overseas cultural exposure tripWe are exploring the possibility of doing a trip to Fiji next year hosted by Cassie and Takepe Kamunaga. This wouldn’t include staying in resorts! This would be for all ages. We would do group fundraising to lower financial pressure. If this is something you might be interested in text Cassie on 0279149079.
Opportunities to Serve
Morning Tea 9am
We are needing a couple of people to join our 9am Morning Tea Roster, 1st Sunday of the Month. This is a great opportunity to serve and get to know people. If you can help on a rostered basis, please contact the office info@allsaintsburwood.nz
Children’s Ministry | We need leaders who can serve our kids during term time on a Sunday morning during the 10.30am service. Contact Annabel 027 640 9282.
Youth Ministry | We need leaders who can serve our youth during term time on a Wednesday night. Contact Paul 021 615 933.
Tech Team | We need sound mixers (live and livestream) at both our 9am and 10.30am services who can serve once a month. Contact the office info@allsaintsburwood.nz
Elder Care | We need helpers who can assist our Elder Care group on Wednesday afternoons. Contact Dawn 027 229 9779.
All Saints Community Building Fit Out
Our new building is open! But it’s still not too late to buy items from our Gift Registry. There is absolutely no item to small for you to contribute. The most important thing is for us all to take part.
This money is tax deductible so you can claim back 1/3 of it at the end of the financial year.
