Today’s Service
Today is Pentecost and we look at a passage in the book of Acts and what makes this unique is the descent of the Holy Spirit.
Rev Tim Keller sums it up in three different themes. Being filled with the Spirit means: outside power, inner wonder and a universal message, and a new man on the mountain.
The invitation this morning, that we can be filled with the Holy Spirit, that we can encounter a power outside of ourselves, a wonder inside and a universal message that changes us.

Journey to Jesus
This week we received funding from a new fund called Journey to Jesus. This helps discipleship in churches and will help us as we begin to focus on encouraging people to go deeper with God as we all journey through the ups and downs of life. Check the notices for further details in the upcoming weeks.
He Tatau Pounamu
A seminar on The Treaty, telling the story of the Christian connection to the Treaty, and it’s intentions.
This is travelling around the country, and is here in Christchurch Tues 28th May 7pm - 9pm at the Christchurch Cathedral.

Matariki
Join us for a Matariki Service on Sunday 30 June.
A service in the style of our Christmas Lessons and Carols. With creative items and poems based on the themes of God’s creation, stars, seasons and reflection.
Baptism or Confirmation
Confirmation and baptism classes are coming up on Tuesdays evenings 7 - 9pm.
For 4 weeks | May 14th, May 21st, Jun 4th, Jun 11th
We will be going through the “Practicing the Way” course by John Mark Comer
Confirmation and Baptism Service - Sun 23 June.

Small Groups
Next term we will be launching a number of small groups, which are a great place to go deeper finding out about Jesus with others.
