Today we reflect on greed versus generosity - reading from the passage in Mark Chapter 12, where Jesus explains to his disciples the value of the widows offering.
“Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.” Mark 12:43-44

All Saints in Service
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others” 1 Peter 4:10-11
Do you have a little time to spare? 2 hours? A morning or an afternoon? A spare Saturday?
As we get nearer to completion of the new community space, we need to some practical help with the finishing touches: Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, Crafting, Labouring, Decorating….

Wood!
We have had to remove some trees from our grounds due to rot and damage in recent bad weather.
If you would like to buy some, we are asking for $100 koha per trailer load. First in, First Served!

Recycled Building Materials
As we near completion of our new building, we have a variety of building materials left over, and are starting to sell some of them for very reasonable prices!
