Today’s Service
We have just had All Saints Day and so today we remember those we love who are no longer with us and the hope that Jesus brings in the face of death. We also look ahead to Parihaka day on the 5th November, and remember the tears of that community as they faced injustice from those with power.
What we do with our tears of sadness or anger is so important. Our society often encourages us to bury grief and disappointment but that often transforms into hurt - of ourselves and others. Today our passage reminds us of the tears of Jesus and how he stopped to recognise his grief before acting.
John 11:32-44
Each week we will have one of our children read a Psalm from ‘Psalms for Young Children’ by Marie-Hélène Delval,.

All Saints in Service
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others” 1 Peter 4:10-11
Do you have a little time to spare? 2 hours? A morning or an afternoon? A spare Saturday?
As we get nearer to completion of the new community space, we need to some practical help with the finishing touches: Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, Crafting, Labouring, Decorating….

Wood!
We have had to remove some trees from our grounds due to rot and damage in recent bad weather.
If you would like to buy some, we are asking for $100 koha per trailer load. First in, First Served!

Recycled Building Materials
As we near completion of our new building, we have a variety of building materials left over, and are starting to sell some of them for very reasonable prices!
