Today’s Service
Today we light the first candle of advent, Hope | Tūmanako and we prepare ourselves to receive Jesus in our own hearts and remember his coming 2000 years ago.
We also welcome Nick and Tessa Laing from One Day Health - visiting from Uganda, who talk to us about not getting weary whilst doing good.
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction, whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6: 7-10
Upcoming Events
Submission on the Treaty Principles Bill
Over 150 church groups have signed up to learn about how to make submissions on this Bill.
We will be offering 2 workshops on the bill at All Saint Church, Burwood| Tues 3rd Dec at 7pm & Fri 6th Dec at 10am
We will also be having a short tim eat our services on Dec 8th to focus on this.

All Saints in Service

Do you have a little time to spare? 2 hours? A morning or an afternoon? A spare Saturday?
As we get nearer to completion of the new community space, we need to some practical help with the finishing touches: Landscaping, Painting, Carpentry, Crafting, Labouring, Decorating….

Wood!
We have had to remove some trees from our grounds due to rot and damage in recent bad weather.
If you would like to buy some, we are asking for $100 koha per trailer load. First in, First Served!

Recycled Building Materials
As we near completion of our new building, we have a variety of building materials left over, and are starting to sell some of them for very reasonable prices!
